Rubaroc is proud to announce the successful completion of a 20,000 square-foot track renovation at the historic Kensington Oval cricket stadium in Barbados, marking the second time our team has worked on this iconic venue. Originally installed in 2007, the track has been completely updated in 2024 as part of major stadium renovations ahead of the 2024 ICC World Cup of Cricket.

A Track Built for World-Class Performance and Safety

The renovated Rubaroc track provides exceptional traction, impact absorption, and durability, meeting the rigorous demands of international cricket. Its cushioned, slip-resistant surface ensures the safety of players while delivering consistent performance during matches and practice sessions. The flexible, seamless system accommodates ground movement and heavy foot traffic, guaranteeing a surface that will perform reliably for years to come.

Constructed from premium EPDM and SBR rubber granules, the track is resistant to UV fading, cracking, and extreme weather conditions.
This ensures minimal maintenance, allowing the Kensington Oval to host World Cup matches and training sessions with confidence. The surface not only performs at a professional level but also maintains its aesthetic appeal, contributing to the stadium’s world-class reputation.
2007 Installation
Having installed the original track in 2007, Rubaroc is proud to continue supporting the Kensington Oval with high-performance, durable solutions. This renovation reinforces our commitment to providing customized, innovative surfaces that meet the exacting standards of international sports venues.
We are excited to see athletes take to the track in 2024, and we’re honored to be part of a project that blends heritage, innovation, and world-class performance.
